The Decisive Moment
Personal Project
Portrait Editorial
«The decisive moment» is a series of scenographed portraits that plays with a certain irony with the maxim of Henri Cartier-Bresson, the greatest exponent of the «hunter» photographer, and his theory about the decisive moment: that stolen, real moment, in which the photographer decides to shoot his camera to capture – hunt – the perfect image, fleeing from impostures. In this project, purposely distorting the concept, I am creating a series of scenes that represent a decisive moment, practically definitive in the life of that imaginary subject. A moment before a hypothetical suicide where the subject looks into the abyss, but still has time to decide whether to drop or not.
